We have spent our careers inside the game, on and off the pitch. Between us, we have played professionally in England, reaching an FA Cup semi-final, represented Canada at senior international level, and coached within the national team environment. We have worked in some of football's most respected settings, from FC Barcelona to the DFB, while helping to build the professional game in Canada.
That work includes founding, developing, and operating a Canadian Premier League club and building its youth football program, helping develop the CPL-U Sports Draft, leading youth, college and grassroots programs across British Columbia, guiding players through the mens and womenscollege pathway, and covering the game on national radio.
We are coach educators, and our credentials include the Canada Soccer A Licence, English FA talent identification certifications, PFSA scouting certifications, a strength and conditioning coaching licence, and a master's in sports marketing and sponsorship.
But credentials only go so far. We have guided many young players, including our own, into professional and college environments, and we know what it took to get each of them there.
That breadth matters, and it is current. Today we run the BC Premier League, part of the Premier Soccer Leagues Canada, and continue to work with professional clubs on how they present themselves through design and media. We know how to assess a player, and just as importantly, we know how clubs make decisions: what gets a player noticed, what gets them overlooked, and how they need to be presented to the people who choose.
Most football advice comes from one corner of the game. Ours comes from across it.
We are not an agency. We are not selling trials, scholarships or professional contracts. Our role is to help players and families understand the information in front of them and make better decisions.

We watch a full match, assess the player and provide a written assessment with clear development priorities. You receive an honest picture of where the player is and what should happen next.
How do I get you the match? +
Send us a full-match link or file together with the player's shirt number and position. We will confirm everything before beginning.
What is the difference between an assessment and ongoing development? +
A single assessment gives you a clear read on one match and a plan built from it. Ongoing development means we continue assessing the player over time and adjust the plan as they progress.
Is this a recruiting service? +
No. Cantera is not representation, placement, recruiting or agent work. It is independent assessment, development planning and pathway guidance.
Do you guarantee trials, scholarships or selection? +
No. We do not promise outcomes. We help families make better decisions with clearer, more honest information.
